Info:
French rising star MACO lands on Robsoul Recordings with ‘TogetheR’, a fresh four-track dose of raw, funky and stripped-back House music.
Now based in London, MACO has become a driving force behind some of the city’s most exciting underground parties, soaking up the energy, spontaneity and rough-edged character of the dancefloor. That same spirit runs deep through his productions, where groove comes first and House is a feeling rather than a formula.
Across ‘TogetheR’, MACO keeps things tight and minimal while packing each track with character. Opening with the warm piano chords and soulful vocal runs of ‘Jazzmatazz’, the EP quickly shifts into the heads-down, rolling momentum of ‘LTJ’.
On the flip, title track ‘TogetheR’ brings a block-party groove into focus, weaving filtered soul selections through a deep, infectious rhythm. Closing things out, ‘Shady’ lets the funk flow with a bass-heavy jam that rounds off a concise but versatile debut.
