Buckle up for takeoff, as Italian house craftsman Di Saronno joins the ranks of Robsoul Recordings with a first-class debut: the ‘The Jet Set’ EP. Fresh from standout releases on Hard Times and Peppermint Jam, Di Saronno delivers a five-track collection that channels the elegance, energy, and escapism of the high-flying lifestyle.
This is house music for those who travel light but groove heavy. A champagne selection of deep, bumping cuts, built for late-night lounges and runway-ready dancefloors alike.
Leading the EP is the bold, bass-driven ‘Get Up & Walk’, a raw and rhythmic collaboration with rising vocalist Raz. “We met casually in Bologna,” says Di Saronno, “but were soon recording in an intimate session. I was blown away by his gift for melody and lyrics.”
The filtered shimmer of the title track ‘The Jet Set’ follows, gliding smoothly into the breezy guitar-laced ‘4 My Babe’, another sun-drenched Raz collaboration. From there, Di Saronno teams up with California-based beat chemist Tom Carle on ‘Love Profusion’, a soulful, sample-rich jam that reflects their shared love of analog hardware and dusty grooves. “Tom mirrors my exact way of cooking beats. All hardware and samples. I immediately felt the connection,” Di Saronno explains.
Closing things out is ‘Off The Game’, a solo cut and heartfelt nod to Foremost Poets, rounding off the EP with classic house finesse.
