Info:

Australian producer AtLows makes a heartfelt return to Phil Weeks’ legendary Robsoul Recordings with Voodoo For Kids. A four-track EP dripping in groove, soul, and stripped-back sample science.
Written during the transformative early days of fatherhood, Voodoo For Kids takes its name from the deep emotional connection AtLows felt with his newborn son. That life-changing experience seeps into the music. Raw, intimate, and pulsing with love. “I was thinking about him a lot. Most of my inspiration came from just being in a new situation, being a dad and being very much in love with my son,” AtLows shares.
A long-time devotee of sample-based production, AtLows leans fully into that aesthetic here. Chopped, layered, and looped to perfection, the tracks keep things tight, jackin’, and groovy. All underpinned by his signature chunky basslines and an evolving flair for sonic storytelling. He complements his crate-digging chops with personal touches, weaving in his own sounds to add new depth and texture.
Voodoo For Kids is a proper house statement: underground, funky, and deeply personal. Four heavy-duty club tracks made for heads who know, and feel.
