Our brother from another mother and the most championed of the Robsoul family, Joss Moog, returns for what will be his twenty first appearance on the label and with what, for us, is one of his finest releases to date.
Lili’s Theme has been a secret weapon for both Joss and label boss Phil Weeks for some time and is now primed and ready to earn its place as one of the summers finest on the worlds dancefloors. Joss presents Lili’s Theme in two parts, both featuring the beautiful and sultry vocals of the girl behind the name, Lili.
Part 1’s velvety smooth chords and magical stardust, together with Lili’s soothing voice create a perfect daytime soundtrack. Part 2 retains the smoothness of its predecessor with the added bump and funk of a live bassline and rasping handclaps. Rounding out the release is Pass The Brass which adds yet more bump and a plodding Sax riff. One for the groovers.
