The last twelve months has seen a beautiful and blossoming relationship between Robsoul and our Berlin based brother Sebo K. Having lit the fire with his impressive debut ‘Catalyst’ EP at the tale end of 2015, he then delivered more heat at the controls of our Robsoul Edits collection at the turn of the year. Since then we’ve been chasing Sebo shaped shadows in the hunt for more musical gems from the German and guess what… He’s delivered.
Leading our tasty new trio is the title track ‘Magie Noire’, with its pulsing synth, rasping hats and bubbling acid riff. The naughty but nice nectar of ‘Honeybee’ follows with its funk rhythm and disco vocal. Already a firm favourite on Sebo’s summer floors. Here we take a turn at the ‘Intersection’ and close out the EP with its shimmering synth and mid-paced swagger.
