Info:
93i is the alter ego of Alexander J. Adams, the Newcastle based producer who today marks his first career landmark with the launch of his debut release. Having cut his teeth in the North East’s healthy club scene Adams’ turned his attention to the studio. The trio of tracks that make up the Da Panamanian Banana Racket EP are the first the reach our ears and its no surprise to find that Robsoul boss Phil Weeks immediately snapped them up.
Thoroughly tried and tested by Weeks, the Da Panamanian Banana Racket is now set to impress and opens with the sleazy-horn-funk of The KDJ Cutz#2, an ode to the moodiest of men. The grooves continue with the guitar-licked soul of Disk-co. Candy & Kicks before the release is rounded out by the hypnotic whiff of house tool Dü Fromage.
