DJ W!LD and Robsoul – the perfect match. Phil Weeks recently spoke in an interview about how there are certain producers he always trusts and gives complete freedom to when he asks them to record an EP for Robsoul – DJ W!LD was one of those he named. On W!LDSYTLE we get four cuts that again showcase the French producer’s trademark style of tracks which build and build, creating dancefloor intensity through their relentless hypnotic grooves, before breaking into expertly chosen sampled breakdowns.

With recent outings on Harry Klein, Jonk and Luna Records alongside his own Catwash and his recently launched The W Label, DJ W!LD is in serious demand right now. A stalwart of the tech and deep house scene, his career path began in the clubs of Paris in 1996. Working with Chris Carrier from 2005 under the name of Catwash (which also spawned the label) he became well known in the French house and techno scene and by 2009 was touring the world, including being offered the residency he retains for Circo Loco at DC10. The W Label launched in 2011 and was home to W!LD’s critically acclaimed ‘Palace’ album and the club destroying singles it contained.

May will see the launch of a new DJ W!LD album, D!RTY, on the impeccable Cabin Fever imprint run by Matt Edwards (Radio Slave).
