Whatever T.U.R.F stands for, we’re down with the code as the rising Dutch duo lay down three absolutely golden grooves with this Robsoul debut.
Following releases on the likes of Nervous, Exploited and Slothboogie comes this bumping selection in time for the autumn exodus from festivals back to clubs. Each one laced with Chi-town fire and Parisian flare, there’s a timeless vibe running through the release; ‘Do My Thing’ hits with a jazzy swing and occasional laser blasts, ‘Played On You’ thumps with filtered finesse while ‘Release Yourself’ doubles up the funk with a killer pipe line, slippery bass and a groove and vocal that refuses to let up.
