The second EP in a three-part series, ‘Mexcal Nights’ comprises 12 high grade jacking house cuts from an exciting young Mexican who previously appeared on Robsoul’s OG House collection last year. Each one laced with generous helpings of disco, soul and just the right balance of Latino black magic, on this EP we plunge deep into a pool of classic Jersey house, we get ridiculously funky, take in some classic US garage influences and plenty more.
Each one leaving you under no illusion about this rising star’s skills and sense of groovemanship, they’ve all by tried and tested by the bossman Phil Weeks and we’re told there’s plenty more heat coming from talented Zacatecas DJ very very soon.
